UPDATE: Janet Jackson addressed the cancellation, saying: "You're missing me, I'm missing you... I'll be rescheduling our Unbreakable shows in Europe as soon as I can. Xoxo"
Janet Jackson canceled her postponed European tour dates with no plan in sight to reschedule them.
Three months ago, Jackson announced she must undergo vocal surgery and could no longer continue her tour. She wrote fans a message stating "I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled."
Several weeks later, Jackson confirmed the Unbreakable Tour would resume and announced the rescheduled tour dates. Unfortunately, she will no longer be able to commit to the select dates.
Ticketmaster informed fans via email who had purchased tickets to her U.K. and other European shows: "It is not possible to confirm new date at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders," reports Spin.
Her shows slated to begin June 24 in New Jersey, as of now, are still on.
