Segment is expected to air "in a couple of weeks."
Just a few weeks ago, Madonna teased her appearance on James Corden's beloved "Carpool Karaoke" of "The Late Late Show" via Instagram and now the newly-announced Grammy host has spilled the goods on what it's like to drive the Queen of Pop around town.
In a new interview with "Extra," the 38-year-old Brit opened up about how he's been trying to pick Madge up as a passenger for the skit for some time now. "It's been a long process trying to get her to do it, but it was amazing. It was really, really great. It was terrific," he explained. "How can you not be a fan of someone who's had such a varied and brilliant career? I just felt very, very lucky to be in her orbit."
Much like some of his other A-list veteran acts, Madonna has a catalogue that spans decades and includes too many hits. Asked if the upcoming segment will include all of her classics, Corden said that they were able to fit in "some of the classics" AKA get ready to end with ride with "Living For Love."
Corden didn't have an exact air date for the pop titan's installment of "Carpool Karaoke," but the host did promise the unveil "in a couple of weeks" after it has been edited. Unlike most of his rides, her segment was filmed in Manhattan because, well, bitch, she's Madonna.
