Diplo and Skrillex surprises everyone and release a fantastic collaboration album.
Don't call it a Beyoncé-esque release, but.... Okay, just go ahead and call it that.
Music's newest duo consisting of Skrillex and Diplo released their new collaborative album today, and it certainly took everyone by surprise. The album, entitled Jack Ü, which is the same name of the duo, consists of big-name artists such as Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, and even Missy Eliott. Combine those artists with some rad beats that make you wanna dance, and you get one of the best albums of 2015 (so far!)
Skrillex is mainly a solo DJ (until now) with some rockin' beats, but Diplo has dipped into the mainstream scene in the recent years. He has collaborated with people such as Beyoncé, Usher, and even our dear Britney for her last studio album Britney Jean. Maybe he should've hit Britney up for this project since she seems to be in a giving mood for Giorgio Moroder's new album.
Jack Ü even attempted to do a 24-hour DJ set last night to celebrate the album's release, but it was broken up by police in the 18th hour.
Check out two of my favorite tracks from the album, "Febreze" featuring 2 Chainz and "Where Are Ü Now" featuring Justin Bieber, below. If you like the twerk-tastic songs enough, I highly recommend you check out the rest of the album on Spotify or iTunes.
