The rumors were true (some of them.)
Jennifer Lopez visited The Ellen Show to discuss her Vegas residency and the topic of conversation soon turned to younger men, and one man in particular, Drake.
Ellen started by asking the singer how she spent Valentine's Day - with a picture of Drizzy onscreen behind them - to which she said her Vegas audience, and quickly established their relationship is one of "songwriting."
"He's off on tour right now [but] we did a song together if that's what you're asking," Lopez confirmed.
Ellen brought up that Instagram of the rumored couple, where J.Lo is laying on the rapper's lap, asking "If you're songwriting, is that how you write a song?"
"We weren't writing a song right at that moment, no. We were just hanging out," she said, successfully dodging romance questions.
Even better, the "Ain't Your Mama" singer subtly dismissed any suggestions that she's using the younger rapper for another hit, revealing that he approached her:
"Actually, he sent me a song that he wanted me to be on and then I got on the song. So, yeah, we have a song together. I don't know what he's going to do with it, but yeah."
If we're lucky, it'll be on Drake's upcoming playlist project "More Life" that's expected to drop any day now.
Also, this quote about Lopez 'dating younger men' is golden. Take note, everybody.
“First of all, stop! I don’t date younger men. I don’t think men have to be younger. It’s not about that. I just meet people, and if I go out with them, I go out with them. And if I like them, I like them, and if I don’t, I don’t. It’s about the person, you know what I mean? It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age!”
Is anybody else dying to hear this J.Lo x Drake collab?
