Britney Attends Maloof Birthday Party

Britney hit up Phil Maloof's VIP birthday party at Drai's Hollywood Saturday night, according to Eonline.com.
"Britney arrived around 9 p.m. with a handsome, dark-haired guy who was NOT her on-again-off-again boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick. She spent most of the time on a couch chatting with Maloof, a longtime friend and part owner of Palms Casino in Vegas."
The man may have been a bodyguard.
"She stayed for about an hour and had fun," says a party source, who didn't witness anything romantic between Britney and her mystery male. "She didn't mention Jason."
Father Jamie joined the party as well, but arrived separately.
Black Star Beer sponsored the party, but sources inside say Britney didn't have any.
"She was mellow but in a good mood," says a source. "She never would drink in front of her dad."

A Taste Of Alternative On New Album

Another producer is added to the long, long list of talent working on Britney's seventh studio album.
Estonian pop singer KERLI revealed he's working with Britney during a broadcast on Kyte TV on Thursday, according to new reports.
"When asked about the direction of Kerli’s upcoming sophomore album, the music publisher said that Britney is making a dance record and that she’s actually heard several of the tracks that are being considered for Britney to record. She then described them as being 'very electronic' and 'kind of alternative,' adding that they’re 'very different' from anything Britney has done before."
I'm down for another Alanis cover!
But, is Britney's new sound a move on her own, or is she being pushed into every direction except her own?

Glee's Matthew Morrison: I Never Said That

Glee star Matthew Morrison revealed to Us Weekly he hopes Glee never sees a Britney-themed episode, saying:"That's a rumor her manager started. I hope our show doesn't go along that route."
But, after experiencing the typical Britney-backlash, Morrison is taking it back, saying: quote:
"I never said I didn't want a Britney episode" of "Glee."
"They [Us Weekly] kind of took two answers and made them into one to sound really bad."
Then why don't you back your shit up by clearly stating: "I want a Britney Spears episode of Glee!"

Britney's 2006 cover for Harper's Bazaar magazine made The Mirror's Top 10 Pregnant Cover Girls, coming in at #5!
Other stars included in the list are Demi Moore for her controversial 1991 Vanity Fair cover, as well as fellow Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera for her 2008 Marie Claire cover.

Lynne Spears Confides In TV Mom

Lynne Spears has a friend, y'all! Seriously!
"Real Housewives of New York City's" Jill Zarin tells People.com her, Lynne and Lynne's granddaughter Maddie Briann enjoyed a girls night out at Manhattan restaurant Kenmare this week. quote:
"I met Lynne a few years ago backstage with [my daughter] Ali at Britney's concert at the Meadowlands [Sports Complex in New Jersey], we just connected and we kept in touch," Zarin tells PEOPLE. "When Lynne comes to town we try to meet and catch up. She called me a couple of months ago and said she was coming to New York."
Zarin says the friendship is unexpected, but the two bond over motherhood.
"It is [surprising]," she says, "I mean I'm a Jewish girl from Long Island, and she's from Louisiana, so you couldn't get more apples and oranges. (Both have also authored books about motherhood.) "But we're both moms who love our kids and who would do anything to protect them. And Ally and Jamie Lynn are around the same age."
"Lynn and Jill have been friends for years, they have stayed in touch and they got together for a brief dinner at Kenmare [restaurant]," said a source to Fox News. "There were definitely no cameras involved - you won't see it on 'The Real Housewives of New York'."
"Jamie Lynn is looking at colleges," the insider told Fox411.com. "Jamie Lynn wants to go to college and Lynn needed some guidance. Jill and Lynn are friends and they end up talking a lot about what their daughters are up to. Jill's daughter Ally is going away to school and Jill has been involved in the process every step of the way. Jill helped Ally write her application - she was hands on during the process."
Jamie Lynn is barking up the wrong tree!
"Lynn knows that Jill helped Ally and she has very little experience in this area," the source said. "Jill knows all about the applications and follow-up and Lynn needed an idea of what to expect with Jamie Lynn doing it."
Jamie Lynn received her GED two years ago, but has focused on motherhood since having her daughter.
"Jamie Lynn is ready to continue her education. It was difficult being a young mom, but she's doing it and she's ready for a new challenge," said the source, who did not know how Spears planned on taking care of Maddie while in school. "College would be great for her - she's very smart. Lynn is so supportive of all of her kids, and she would love to see Jamie Lynn earn a college degree."
As for the new BFFs?
"We talked about Mother's Day, what we got, about New Orleans, about traveling," Zarin says of their dinner.
"Her kids are doing fantastic. Her grandkids are her life. She looks amazing. She's in amazing shape; she works out. She was really happy.
Glad Lynne is in amazing shape, whether she took the easy route or not!

Britney And Jason Part Ways Professionally

Britney and boyfriend Jason Trawick have split - professionally speaking, anyway!
The two "have decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship," a Spears rep tells People.com. "Since wrapping her recent world tour, Spears has been busy in the studio working on her next album."
As for their personal relationship? "They are very happy," a source said of the couple. "Things are really good with them."

Britney is working with producers Chris Mercer, who's produced songs for Rihanna and T.I., and South Rakkas Crew label head Alex Greggs, according to LAweekly.com.
"They approach me because they want me to do what I do. They don't want me to make a cheesy pop record. I just want to be known for my beats. It's simple. What you see is what you get. Bang! The music."
Awesome to hear all the new producers working with Britney, but how much is homegirl actually contributing. Afterall, it is HER album.

Britney's Candies Commercial Shot Today

Candie's chief marketing officer, Dari Marder, revealed to fans last week that Britney is shooting a commercial for her new Candies line.
Well, the shoot was today:
Marder posted a picture of all the tacky pink items on set, including flamingos, a giant crayon and a horse stuffed animal.
Sounds like "Radar" part II...

May 10 - Britney Gets Lunch Sans Underwear

A pantiless Britney enjoyed lunch with her bodyguard at the Abbey in West Hollywood Monday afternoon.
After lunch, Britney shopped at Curve.
An X17 photographer on the scene tells says: quote:
"Britney was really happy with this guy; she seems in a better mood with him than when she's with Jason. And Ryan [the bodyguard] is really cute so the attraction is obvious. If nothing else, at least she appears to have found a good friend."
"Britney requested to be seated at a private cabana at the back of the bar with her hot bodyguard Ryan (who isn't her usual escort), surrounded by curtains perhaps in an attempt to keep their relationship a secret from boyfriend Jason Trawick, who's she's been having trouble with in recent months. In contrast, our source says the last time Britney visited The Abbey, she wanted to sit in the very public VIP section of the bar in order to be seen by everyone!"
A source at the Abbey tells X17 that she and Ryan were "giggly" and in a good mood. Britney was smiling non stop!
She ordered a steak chopped salad and "she insisted on getting crackers."
"At one point, the staff noticed that Britney's car was getting a ticket, so Ryan ran out to go take care of it -- that's when Britney realized she was being photographed and as soon as Ryan came back the pair was in such a rush to get out of there, that they forgot to pay!"
The source even says Ryan called Britney "baby." When one of the photogs fell down and she wanted to stop to help him, the bodyguard leaned into her and said "Don't worry, baby!"
The ticket was paid by Britney's security.
Hope she enjoyed the cool L.A. breeze!

Britney enjoyed Mother's Day with her sons, as photogs caught the mother-of-two, accompanied by a nanny and bodyguard, taking Sean and Jayden to their Karate class.
Earlier in the day, Britney took her sons to Disneyland!
Hope they enjoyed themselves!
