Iggy Azalea Pulls A Mariah Carey On Halsey: “I Don’t Know Her”

A kii!

Halsey caused a shit storm on the Internet last week when she blasted Iggy Azalea for seemingly no reason. The pop star uttered some shady comments to The Guardian, which she later claimed was off the record, and it became worldwide trending news. The "Strangers" singer defended rapper Quavo, who made a couple of homophobic remarks earlier this year, then slammed Iggy. She called the Australian rapper a "f--king moron" for, according to her, having a "complete disregard for black culture" and admitted she was fascinated to watch Igg's career dissolve. Read more about that here.

Iggy heard loud and clear. In a new on Smallzy's Surgery on the Nova Network, Iggy channeled her inner Mimi and said she doesn't know Halsey.

"It's a bit weird to bring someone up in an interview that you weren't asked about," Iggy said. "I don't know her, I've never met her or interacted with her in any capacity so I thought it was a bit of strange thing to kind of throw that out there. But she's young and you know I hope that she kind of learns maybe to be a bit less judgmental when she's kind of in the same shoes."

She added: "I'm sure she's getting judged all the time as well by people who don't really know her. So I think maybe it will be good for her to try be a little more empathetic to other people that are in the same situation."

"I think she got asked a question and she felt uncomfortable with, for whatever reason she brought me up and felt like that was a good deflection. I don't think it worked… I don't really think I had anything to do with it. It was a weird thing to bring me in to it."

I'm with Iggy on this one. Halsey, sis, say you're sorry.
