We certainly hope Hilary Duff's next single might is "Tattoo."
To celebrate the release of her new album, "Breathe In. Breathe Out." this week, Duff took to her backyard to sing a lovely acoustic version of the Ed Sheeran-penned track. As BreatheHeavy mentioned in our album review, the song is definitely a standout track off the record, and her special one-off performance of it proves so.
"It's a really heartfelt, honest song about getting burned and not feeling appreciated in a relationship, and the marks you get left with at the end," she tells Vulture. "I wanted to share a really stripped-down version of the song to give people an idea what the song is about.”
Backed solely by a guitarist, Duff sings the emotional song in the comfort of her own home. Watch below:
