UPDATE: It's confirmed! Tomlinson welcomes a baby boy.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a mutual friend of the two told People.
Louis Tomlinson's baby mama Briana Jungwirth has apparently given birth, but with a lack of official confirmation or denial, One Direction fans are once again left scratching their heads and looking for answers.
It's not an easy time to be a One Direction fan. With persistent rumors that their temporary hiatus will become a permanent split, constant shade throwing from former member Zayn Malik, unclear solo plans from Liam Payne and Harry Styles and seemingly endless speculation about the boys' sexualities, nothing is ever easy with the five-piece turned four-piece from across the pond.
In a new and baffling twist, it'd seem that not only has Briana Jungwirth given birth, but that her grandmother took to Instagram to confirm the news in the early hours of the morning.
Louis just let Ur heart dance. U now have another you. A gift that will want to be just like YOU. Love him & my young grandchild that gave him to you. LET her know she's special. She just wanted to love U not even knowing who U were or your profile Ur & reputation. Be free & just LIVE. It's simple. Not complex. Be free with love of yourself & Ur child that will want to be just like U. That is, If U let him. He'll be watching all U do. And hope to be just like U, if U let him. A little boy that's just sees you. Take charge.& repect Briana that was willing to go throw it all. She's never loved before.
The account has reportedly been verified as Jungworth's actual grandmother, although no one seems particularly sure how.
The media appears to be latching on to the idea that Tomlinson's son has been born, although we're still left without official confirmation from the father-to-be or his team. Although considering the young singer/songwriter has only spoken about the pregnancy once in nine months, we may have quite the wait on our hands.
There is much speculation as to whether the singer will ask for a paternity test or not once the baby is born, considering that the child is alleged to be the result of a brief fling and that Jungworth is planning on asking for up to $50,000 from the superstar each month in child support.
