Halsey Might Have A Collaboration With The Weeknd On ‘hopeless fountain kingdom’

It looks as though Halsey landed a song with The Weeknd on her forthcoming album, hopeless fountain kingdom.

Word traveling around the Twitterverse claims the third song off the record credits Abel Tesfaye, The Weeknd's real name. There's also chatter she worked with Sia as well.

If this is true, it's unknown if Tesfaye laid vocals down, or if he was solely involved in the songwriting/creation aspect of Track No. 3. It's worth noting Weeknd has songwriting credits on Lana Del Rey's album title track "Lust For Life," but as of now isn't mentioned as a feature. He could quite possibly be lending his writing talents to artists and opting out of a proper feature. This is also a massive accomplishment for Halsey. Her sophomore record is highly anticipated, and anything with The Weeknd turns to gold; she could secure her second No. 1 ever with him.

How did this come about? In 2015, Halsey opened for The Weeknd on The Madness fall tour.

"I've been a fan of [The Weeknd] for years, so I'm really excited for this opportunity to go learn from him," she said at the time. "He's been so successful with pop radio this year, so I feel like I have a lot of notes to take."

hopeless fountain kingdom drops June 2.
