G-Eazy Features On Raekwon’s “Purple Brick Road”: Listen

An unexpected banger.

G-Eazy has jumped on Wu-Tang Clan legend Raekwon's new single "Purple Brick Road."

The "Me Myself & I" rapper has kept quiet the past few months while working on his fourth LP but he didn't think twice about this feature, rapping: “It’s G rappin’ with Raekwon / Told the homies this wouldn’t take long."

Young Gerald celebrates his come up in his verse, "Cuban links on my neck and I just put a presidential on my wrist / This year you haters gon' acknowledge this."

The earworm hook is the standout feature of the track, however, sung by a mystery voice identified as Stalking Gia.

"Forever may not exist but man do we got our moments / Killing time making a name," the uncredited voice sings. "Wasn't about money or the fame / Why hide scars / It's who we are."

If this song takes off then Stalking Gia could easily be 2017's breakout singer.
