Frank Ocean scores his first No. 1 ever with the debut of Blonde.

Ocean’s surprise release tactic worked. His new album hit the top of the charts with 276,000 equivalent album units, giving the R&B crooner the third largest debut in 2016 after Drake’s Views and Beyonce’s Lemonade.

Ocean released a different album titled Endless the day before, but because it was solely available on his website as a streaming project, Billboard claimed it’s ineligible to chart (lame).

Blonde had enough influence leading into the release though that Ocean topped his previous masterpiece, Channel Orange, which sold 131,000 copies opening week in 2012.

Via Billboard: “The songs on the Blonde album generated 65.4 million streams during the week. It was the second-most streamed album on the chart, behind only Drake‚Äôs Views, with 67.5 million streams.”

This week’s Top 10:

1. Frank Ocean – Blonde
2. Drake – Views
3. Soundtrack – Suicide Squad
4. Tory Lanez – I Told You
5. Lindsey Stirling – Brave Enough
6. Twenty One Pilots – Blurryface
7. Adele – 25
8. Rihanna – Anti
9. DJ Khaled – Major Key
