Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei Covers Solange’s “Don’t Touch My Hair” And “Cranes In The Sky”

Normani Kordei takes a seat at the table.

Since Camila Cabello announced she quit Fifth Harmony, the band has struggled to find stability. Lauren Jauregui is pursuing solo material with Marian Hill on a track titled "Back To Me," and Kordei is focusing on projects separate from the band as well.

Following her cover of Drake's "Fake Love" with "Sneakin'" is her reinterpretation of Solange's "Don’t Touch My Hair" and "Cranes In The Sky."

"I was inspired by Solange's album, A Seat At The Table, from the moment that I heard it," she tells USA Today. "She has clearly taken the time to create a unique body of work and emote through her music from a true place."

The dreamy take drifts from one cut to another, melting ethereal background vocals with her sugary sweet vocals. And there's more to come.
