That's my girl!
Lauren Jauregui made a splash last week by coming out as bisexual in an open letter to Trump supporters, and her newfound freedom inspired the 20-year-old to hit the recording studio sans her Fifth Harmony bandmates.
The Rascals, the producers behind a handful of tracks on Ariana Grande's Yours Truly, including "Honeymoon Avenue" and "Lovin' It," shared a photo of their time with Jauregui in the studio this week. "Creating w/ the homies," they wrote.
Jauregui followed up: "Studio with the babess."
Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello hasn't been shy about releasing solo material over the last year with her Shawn Mendes-assisted bop "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and most recently, a collaboration alongside Machine Gun Kelly with "Bad Things." She's also spent a solid chunk of time in the studio with Diplo.
Normani Kordei has also released solo material, like her cover of Tory Lanez's "Say It" and an impromptu dance routine. “Yes, in the future,” she says of the inevitable band breakup. “In the beginning, we all had intentions of pursuing solo careers. I’m still an individual, as well as the others, meaning we have slightly different visions and aspirations.”
Jauregui is just keeping up with the times.
