UPDATE: Fifth Harmony premiered a simple black & white visual for “Write On Me.” Watch below:
Fifth Harmony change pace with an upbeat power ballad titled “Write On Me.”
Fifth Harmony are readying their third official 7/27 release following the repetitive “Work From Home” and “The Life” with a mid-tempo love tune titled “Write On Me.”
The song lyrically is the best we’ve heard from the ladies thus far. Band member (and ring leader?) Camila Cabello says “Write On Me” is her favorite song lyrically speaking.
“To me the song is an extended metaphor where you’re asking somebody to write on you, envelop you with their words, make their mark on you like you’re a blank canvas,” she said.
In past singles, the girls’ voices melt together to create a soaring pop single, but in “Write On Me,” every participating member of 5H get the chance to shine on their own.
The song officially premieres Friday, but is available to stream via Tumblr:
