Fifth Harmony Says Their Camila Publicity Stunt At The VMA’s Was A “Monumental Moment”

Fifth Harmony aren’t apologizing for throwing “Camila Cabello” offstage in the intro of their VMA performance.

They’re actually side-stepping the entire thing. During their appearance at Good Morning America, the ladies were asked about the moment everyone was talking about (really, one of the only highlights of the entire show).

Ally Brooke steps in with the safest answer possible. “We get asked all the time if we’re getting a fifth member and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that hey the four of us are Fifth Harmony,” Brooke said. “And we’re stronger and better than we’ve ever been.”

PR game on point! But I would have preferred if they totally owned the moment instead of peddling around it.

Camila has yet to respond to the stunt, but something tells me she won't buy what Fifth Harmony is selling.
