Double the pleasure, double the fun!
Fergie's return to music is closer than you think. After a lengthy leave of absence from music (minus "L.A. Love (La La)," but we're pretending that never happened), Fergie is readying a brand new album that's reportedly dropping in March. Ahead of its debut, she'll put forth several music videos, including one filmed in Paris by the legendary Bianco who also shot the cover for the album along with press materials to coincide with the launch (Bianco photographed Madonna's covers for “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” “MDNA” and “Rebel Heart”), and a second video filmed in London.
The new album could see collaborations from Nicki Minaj (produced by Dr. Luke), Jean Baptiste, DJ Mustard, Rock City & Charlie Puth, and fans will get the chance to hear the new music when she embarks on a tour later this year, reports FootwearNews (who recently interviewed Fergie for her Caleres Inc. shoe line), which includes a show at Japan Summer Sonic festival.
Not only that, but a clip that slipped through the blogosphere's fingers of her husband Josh Duhamel revealing the upcoming album title resurfaced. According to him, the album is named Double Dutchess, an appropriate followup to 2006's The Dutchess.
