UPDATE: According to a Black Eyed Peas Twitter fan account, below the single cover for Fergie and Nicki Minaj’s collaboration “You Already Know.” This could be the breadcrumb trail pointing toward a nearby release.

UPDATE // AUGUST 24: Is Fergie releasing “You Already Know” soon? Possibly. The singer brought to light her solo debut album The Dutchess was officially certified 5x Platinum, and in doing so teased the song title.

“#TheDutchess is now certified 5X platinum in the US 💙💙 Thank you 5 million times over,” she said. “I’m truly blessed to be on this journey with you all, and You Already Know I’m more inspired and excited than ever to put out this next one… you ready?”

We’re impatiently waiting, but you already know.

Fergie has a song with Nicki Minaj and premiered it live during her performance at Lisbon’s Rock In Rio music festival.

It’s a big day for Fergie fans. Hours after the Double Dutchess singer dropped a new song/visual to hype her forthcoming record, she performed her new collabo that features Nicki Minaj (the rap goddess didn’t end up taking the stage alongside Fergie Ferg, but we’ll take it).

Catch a couple of clips from the performance via Nicki Daily:

The feature was several years in the making. Fergie told fans in 2014:

“People can tell when things are organic. People just have a sense of that. I can tell… even certain lines I’m like ‘I don’t think I should say that,’ because certain lines wouldn’t be right for me. Certain things that Nicki Minaj says wouldn’t be right for me to say. I say things that are right for my personality.”
