I dont get you failing trolls sometimes
You all keep saying The Fame sold better than Circus.
The Fame: 5 million records
Circus: 4 1/2 to 5 million records
The Fame is Gaga's FIRST album. ...Baby One More Time sold 23 million. Her amount isnt even half of Britney's. So lets see Gaga's sales increase
each album..... not gonna happen. I dont see how you trolls think you are making a "valid" point by saying The Fame sold more.

Siggy be me!

1) Britney's first album sold 23 million.
2) That was in 1999. Record sales have drastically declined. Comparing the two albums in meaningless. It would be better to compare the impact each of
them had individually.
3) Regardless of the gap between Circus/The Fame. The Fame still outsold Circus. The Fame is still selling thousands of copies a week while Circus has
fallen off every single major chart.

Coming back from hell and still selling that much surely counts for something.
I'm sorry but the fame just isn't that much of an accomplishment if you look at the bigger picture.

4 number 1s on pop radio, 4 million copies sold, over 9 million in digital downloads, 2 number 1s, and critical acclaim isn't much of an
accomplishment?

No one should be comparing the albums. It's different circumstances. Britney has hardly promoted her album, Gaga promotes her singles constantly. If
Britney were promoting, she'd probably have outsold The Fame by now but she doesn't.
Please, get the fuck over it. Everyone.
And you take me to the corner of swept away and lost in love.

THIS IS THE ONLY LEGEND OF THIS GENERATION!!!!!
Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer, dancer, songwriter, actress and author. She has sold over 85 million records
worldwide according to Zomba Label Group.
The Pop princess: Britney Spears is the first female pop star since Madonna who has managed to influence so many people of all ages in the pop scene
world wide. Britney launched to the pop dome with her debut album Baby One More Time (1999). The album hit the Billboard charts at #1 and sold 125
thousand copies on its first week on the market. It consequently went platinum seven times after seven months.
Raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in
Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. In 1997, Spears signed a recording contract with Jive, releasing her
debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 , and established her as a pop icon and "bona fide
pop phenomenon", credited for influencing the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s.[2] Her next three albums also debuted at number one. In December
2008, her sixth studio album, Circus, was released.
According to Zomba Label Group and Sony BMG, Spears has sold over 85 million records worldwide.[3][4] In addition, she is ranked as the eighthbest-selling female recording artist in the U.S. with 32 million sold albums certified by the RIAA,[5] and is currently the fifth best selling artist
act of the decade in the country.[6] Spears is also ranked by Forbes 2009 issue as the 13th most powerful celebrity with over $35 million dollars inearnings this year.[7]
Legacy:

Britney Spears became a pop culture icon immediately after launching her recording career. Rolling Stone magazine wrote: "One of the most
controversial and successful female vocalists of the 21st century," she "spearheaded the rise of post-millennial teen pop ... Spears early on
cultivated a mixture of innocence and experience that broke the bank".[178] She is listed by the Guinness World Records as having the "Best-sellingalbum by a teenage solo artist" for her debut album ...Baby One More Time which sold over thirteen million copies in the United States.[179] Melissa
Ruggieri of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported, "She's also marked for being the best-selling teenage artist. Before she turned 20 in 2001, Spears
sold more than 37 million albums worldwide".[180] Barbara Ellen of The Observer reported: "Spears is famously one of the 'oldest' teenagers pop
has ever produced, almost middle aged in terms of focus and determination. Many 19-year-olds haven't even started working by that age, whereas
Britney, a former Mouseketeer, was that most unusual and volatile of American phenomena — a child with a full-time career. While other little girls
were putting posters on their walls, Britney was wanting to be the poster on the wall. Whereas other children develop at their own pace, Britney was
developing at a pace set by the ferociously competitive American entertainment industry".[181] 'Britney Spears' has been Yahoo!'s most popularsearch term for the last four consecutive years, seven times in total.[182] Spears was named as Most Searched Person in the Guinness World Records
book edition 2007 and 2009. vh1 ranked her as #3 on their show 100 greatest teen stars.[183] Bebo Norman and Busted both wrote songs about Spearscalled "Britney". [184].
People magazine and MTV reported that on October 1, 2008, Bronx's John Philip Sousa Middle School, named their music studio in honor of Britney
Spears.[185] Spears herself was present during the ceremony and donated $10,000 dollars to the school's music program.

But what does it matter? If you're not a fan, and it looks like you aren't, then why the fuck are you here - especially in the Britney section? If
you don't like her, move on and go somewhere else. By posting facts and figures about Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Christina, etc. doesn't make me more of a
fan - it makes me less of a fan because of the way you go about it. It's not the time or the place.
And you take me to the corner of swept away and lost in love.

^ That's stupid.
I could easily post Beyonce's achievements which far outnumber Britney's. |
I'm responding to that troll's endless parade of Britney's achievements. He thinks by posting them he's gonna somehow undermine Gaga, Beyonce, and
anyone else who is currently a threat to Britney.
Beyonce has accomplished a lot more than Britney, but I'm not gonna go and post all her achievements in every thread. I'm just being realistic.
