Toxic is  lyrically one of her best songs if i have heard so many different versions of toxic where the production and beats our different and even covers and the song stills sounds just as good if so even better, britney is really lucky she got a hold of toxic because tbh even if britney didnt sing it toxic would always be a hit

Leave toxic alone... For a lot of younger fans it's usually the entry britney song that bears a lot of memories.

I still remember when i first heard it on radio and did not even know it was by britney spears, the song is iconic.

I remember hearing toxic when she released the four ITZ previews, each a minute long: Breathe On Me, I've Got That Boom Boom, Showdown and Toxic. I was in love. And then ARMAGEDDON: the song was released fully and it was one of those moments where the expectations were surpassed to the mindblowing proportions. Yep, that was the time Brit would blow your mind, not disappoint like in the last 7 years. And THEN came the video... CUM!

Toxic isn’t only her best song, it’s one of the best pop songs ever recorded. It’s universal, even her haters like Toxic tbh.

Some of the songs ya’ll be claiming to be her best  :quirkney:

Truth tea spilled everywhere!

Well, taste is ambiguous. We can't state who is a real or a fake fan just because they like Toxic. It's one of her trademark songs so it's a welcome track for newer fans so the impact it might have on them would be higher than for fans like me who followed her since the BOMT era. But as others said, if you didn't live during the time Toxic was released the perception of the song ofc will be different.

Tbh, some of my favorite Britney songs EVER are not even singles, and even they are not even official songs (everyday, ouch, luv the hurt away, state of grace) so if they find Toxic her best song they should be respected and invited to discover more from her discography rather than being excluded or downplayed just because they are newer fans. :pleaseshhh:

My favorite Britney song ever is Overprotected, am I worth it for the b army?  :pleaseshhh:

OMG! State Of Grace. I will never get over the fact that was never released as a single and didn't even make the cut to the album. :yasqueen:

Tbh, the song is too perfect to be a single at such horrible stage of her life. It would have been like Break the ice, an amazing song destroyed with a horrible music video. But at least as an official track, that's a sin we will never be forgiven. :pleaseshhh:

She could have done the same she did with Radar. :ohreallylol: but yeah, I love that song so much, it's literally a state of grace listening to it.
