The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards kick off live from The Forum in Inglewood, California tonight (Sunday, August 27) at 8 p.m. EST.


Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with eight nominations, including Video of the Year for “HUMBLE.,” Artist of the Year, and Best Hip-Hop. Katy Perry and The Weeknd scored five nominations apiece. It's worth noting the VMAs have introduced a 'Best Fight Against The System' category, and dropped any gender-specific awards.

Idek who this is performing rn, or most of the people in the audience. I'm only watching for Miley and Demi and kinda pink. I doubt Britney will come but that'd make it worth it

 

the artists of today are so fortunate that the bar is set so low for an award show performance
