Is it too late now to say sorry?

Justin Bieber has been globe trotting on the Purpose Tour for what feels like a decade. He'll make his way to Asia later this year, which includes stops in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong. One destination he won't include? China.

Despite Bieber's efforts to turn things around, the country has reportedly banned the pop star from performing there because of his turbulent past.

According to The Guardian, Beijing’s culture bureau released a statement on their website explaining the decision to block Bieber from performing there. They blame his his multiple run-ins with the law.

“Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.” The clarification is a response to a fan’s demand for a “detailed explanation” for Bieber’s absence. “As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviors, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.” They added: “We hope Justin Bieber is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favor,” it reads.

Lame! Bieber deserves a second shot. The last upload on his Instagram at the time of posting was a photo next to a young fan in the hospital. Does China have choice words for that, too?

Shoutout to the coolest kid on the planet
