Ed Sheeran Deleting His Twitter Had Nothing To Do With Horrendous Game Of Thrones Cameo

Recommended Posts

Remains unbothered.

If you thought Twitter finally had its way with Ed Sheeran, you're wrong.

The pop star deleted his Twitter profile not long after he threatened to quit it entirely (Lady Gaga fans came for him. You can read more about that here). Once he re-activated it, all of the Tweets after April 2015 had been scrubbed. The Internet assumed the backlash he faced after his cameo on Game of Thrones was to blame, but, as the Internet usually is, was wrong.

"Last i'll say on this. I came off Twitter Coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my game of thrones cameo, because I am in game of thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that," Sheeran wrote on Instagram. "It's clearly fuckin' awesome. Timing was just a coincidence, but believe what you want. Here is an unrelated picture of me and my wonderful manager riding off into the sunset together"

The timing is rather suspect. Whatever you say, Ed!

I guess people are just over basic, boring and unsympaphetic celebs beeing placed in every single show, commercial and movie...

It's a hard time to be a popfan, everyone is just so basic and not with good intentions at all.  Where are the celebs who are likable? Even Paris Hilton was more likable back in the day, what we get today: Superstars who are crying over nonsense...
