Ed Sheeran Compares The Track He Wrote For Camila Cabello To Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love”

Ed Sheeran just gave Camila Cabello the biggest compliment of her career.

Not only did the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter pen a new tune for Camila titled "The Boy," which should land on the pop star's forthcoming album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., but he compares it to Beyonce's iconic breakout hit "Crazy In Love."

"CRAZY IN LOVE."

"You know how Beyoncé came out with ‘Crazy in Love’?” he asked. "It's just sass and big vocals. Camila has a voice that should be really shown off. I was like, I know what I want Camila to do as a singer."

Sheeran reveals how the song even came about. "I demoed this song where I sing really high as if I'm a girl, singing all these lyrics about being a girl. I sent it to her," he said, "and she kind of took it apart and made it obviously sound like her. She changed 90 percent of the lyrics on it.”

Well damn. Check it out below:
