Harry Styles Performs "Sign Of The Times" And "Ever Since New York" On SNL

Harry Styles debuts two new songs on Saturday Night Live.

Decked out in a brown plaid suit, the 23-year-old newly solo singer debuted his UK #1 single "Sign Of The Times" live on the popular American variety show tonight:

He also capped off the show by performing brand new track "Ever Since New York", a laidback Fleetwood Mac-esque track that saw Harry strumming a guitar while harmonising with his 5 piece band:

Harry kept with SNL tradition and participated in a few hilarious skits, including one where he played his musical hero, iconic rocker Mick Jagger:

And another where he played a civil war soldier:

At one point in the Jagger skit, Harry appears to deny going solo (at least in the Zayn sense...) when he quips: "Why would anyone in a successful band go solo?"

Regardless, Harry's solo career is off to a very strong start, with "Sign Of The Times" debuting at #1 in the UK, Scotland and Australia. Styles next live performance will be on April 21 on The Graham Norton Show.

I'm sorry but he struggled with "sign of the times" he could barely reach the high notes that come before the chorus, and that voice crack at the end... Let's not be hypocrites, if this was a girl pop star she would have been dragged... And being nervous is not an excuse, he has been in the biggest venues playing live for many years for thousands of people. I love his new songs and I support him, but let's keep it real, that was far from perfect. The other song was good though, and props for the acting.
