Katy Perry Teases New 'KP4' Track "Witness"

Recommended Posts

Looking for a connection.

Katy Perry is looking for a connection on new song "Witness."

The pop star teased a bit of it on social media on Friday (March 24). Thank God, because I don't know how many more "Chained To The Rhythm" remixes I could handle.

She continues her theme of purposeful pop. “We are all just looking for connection," she sings over a thumping beat. "Yeah we all want to be seen / I’m looking for someone who speaks my language / Someone to ride this ride…”

Last month, Perry told E! News all of her songs "have always had layers to them, never one-dimensional." She added, "I think I used to be the queen of innuendo and I woke up a little bit more, educated myself a little bit more. Obviously I don't know all the answers, and maybe I'm a little bit more the queen of subtext."

The album has "a wide range of feelings and emotions and I just feel a little bit more conscious than I ever have."
