Zara Larsson's New Album 'So Good' Breaks Spotify Record

Recommended Posts

So good, so good, so good, so good!

UPDATE // MARCH 19:

Congratulations are in order for Zara Larsson. Her new album So Good is reportedly the most streamed debut album by any female artist on Spotify ever. Listen below.

EARLIER // MARCH 16:

So good, so good, so good, so good!

I've had my eye on Zara Larsson since 2015's "Lush Life," but she hit it big way before that. At age 10, Larsson won a talent show named Talang, the Swedish version of America's Got Talent. She released her debut studio album, 1, (which was certified Platinum in Sweden) and got her bearings on Cher Lloyd's I Wish Tour. Oddly enough, it wasn't the budding pop star's mad talent to fully convince me she's a force to be reckoned with. That I'll credit to Epic Records head honcho LA Reid. During an appearance on the Today Show last year, Reid, who represents Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor and Fifth Harmony, to name a few, said Zara is THE one to watch, saying: "of all of the artists that are in my life currently [Zara] has the potential to be the biggest of all of them, and there are some big ones."

Here we are. Larsson just dropped her second record, So Good, which features collaborations from Ty Dolla $ign, MNEK, Wizkid and Clean Bandit. If the record sounds a bit familiar, it's because the 19-year-old unleashed a third of it ahead of today's release date. Get familiar with the rest of So Good, which you can stream below:

This is for the girl here who said she is a flop  :snapney:

I 'm telling you guys, this one is one to stan.

:unbelievableney:

You only stan ppl because they are doing good? Or because you like her?

I dogged two of her singles. I'll have to listen to the album.

Where are her plays from? Her home country? She isn't big in the US.

She's been releasing a bunch of separate singles for 2 years and they're all from this album she dropped recently. Lush Life alone, which she released in 2015, has 554M streams. She had lots of time to build up those numbers.

Spotify streaming is all she really has, and that's mainly because of the insane payola the Swedish Spotify CEO provides her. Yes, she's swedish.

Meanwhile, her album is predicted to miss the Billboard top 50.

Miss the Top 50?!??!?! That is such a shame. She is so talented. But Bebe Rexha missed the Top 50 by one slot so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm so disappointed :crying1:
