Alli Walker – "Head In The Clouds": BreatheHeavy Premiere

Recommended Posts

An infectious pop gem.

Like most precious pop gems, singer-songwriter Alli Walker's new tune "Head In The Clouds" will distract you from the world's problems.

The electro-infused song is one of the first tastes of Walker's forthcoming music that she has kept on the DL for some time.

"I've been developing, performing, writing, and recording for so many years but keeping my original material hush hush for so long until I felt like I was ready," she tells BreatheHeavy.com. "I am constantly writing whether it be on my own, or with co-writers," she continues. "I try and write songs without a box, and be open to what ever comes out naturally."

Her latest concoction is "Head In The Clouds," a deliriously sweet song that's as flippant as it is infectious.

"'Head In The Clouds' was a labor of love. It got re-written twice, and re-recorded two more times. I knew I really wanted to nail the vibe and not just give up on the song. In the end with all the extra attention, it ended up being one of my favourite songs for it’s funky, outside-the-box, catchy, make-you-wanna-dance feel."

She adds, "I want people to get ALL the feels from this song."
