Vegas Residency Aims For Intimacy

Britney plans on rocking Sin City during a string of shows slated for a Caesar's Entertainment property, but it's not a multi-million dollar, two-year deal as speculated, reports the Daily Mail.

"The deal would be a smaller residency rather than something akin to Celine Dion's five-night-a-week contract with The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace - for which the singer reportedly earns $20,000 per song."

A source says: "Nobody expects this to be a five-night-a week residency, it wouldn't be right for Britney right now."

Despite public relations director for Caesers Entertainment denying Brit'll join the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion and Shania Twain at the Colosseum, it's rumored she may still squeeze in.

Next best bet is Planet Hollywood, who recently signed hypnotist Marshall Sylver for open-ended residency. Their theater holds 7,500 people, or curtained off for a calmer 4,000.

It is thought that Brit's ex-fiance Jason Trawick helped negotiate the deal with Planet Hollywood as he is good friends with boss Robert Earl, as is Britney's manager Larry Rudolph.

Larry said he'd be "shocked" if the Vegas deal fell through.

Britney Tweeted fans over the weekend with a cryptic "#VivaLasVegas" message.

This time, fans come to the queen, and you will deal.

good! thats im hoping.

I hope they are doing this to help warm her up for album promotions, and will use this as promotion themselves, maybe film a special or something

Fans are going to feel so stupid if this turns out to be like a week long thing.
