it did very good actually. of course most of the football fans were gonna change the dial but x factor held its own next to the HUGE football game that featured payton manning over on NBC. most people who follow ratings and xtina fans were waiting to celebrate, thinking it would get numbers into the 1's.

for comparison, take a look at the glee numbers that followed x factor. they sank like a rock!
