Arin Ray received backlash from Britney fans after his Godmother posted on Twitter he'd have a better chance at the $5 million prize if Britney was a good mentor.

A.K.A RUN AND HIDE!!!

Arin said on Wednesday's The X Factor he wants to be himself on stage, but it was all misconstrued. He posted an apology on Twitter:



Very big of him, and he has to understand it comes with the territory. Look at it as a sign of success.

Hopefully this wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back... tune in tonight to see if Arin stays or goes on The X Factor.
