She did do something for her fans. She continued on with her music career, she could have retired after 2007/2008 but she kept on going even though you piece of shits don't deserve it.

well...the only thing I agree with here is that Britney seems to have trouble with taking responsibility of her actions. She seems to always have something or someone to blame. She even blamed Demi for her walking off of the stage...but it's okay. We all have flaws. I am just happy she is continueing to make music.

I don't know, have you ever heard like a single named Criminal? Or another named Break the Ice? And she could have retired after the breakdown, but she chose to go on because of us. Since 2001 we've been complaining that she didn't release any tour DVD, she did it last year. We've been wanting to see Britney on TV every week, she does The X Factor. We wanted her to come with a fresh new sound, she released Hold It Against Me. Rihanna S&M collab? The fans decided it.

I think people complain a lot here and don't realize how much she has done to us all since her music career first started in 1998.

It's a shame when she doesn't care that her name is associated with mediocrity. The whole pop up shop crap, the artwork for her singles recently, substandard tour and tour DVD etc etc. She needs to protect her name and her brand.

You honestly sound stupid. You think the public cares about single covers and pop up shops? No. Fans shouldn't even care that much. Britney's tours and music aren't met with mediocrity and that's what matters.

I can't say I am not unhappy that she has continued her career, because she has delivered some great songs. But much of it feels like she is on auto-pilot. She's not as fluid as she was. And don't blame that on age or kids or her knee, or whatever other excuse you have. You know exactly what I mean, I feel like we have been in the same era and that "Team Britney" has been trying to DRILL back into her fans' heads an image of Britney Spears, as we knew during the "Britney" era. It's like, they want to keep her like that. When she used to steer the wheel of her career more, and her image, she would change up her style dramatically, having fun with it, and treat it more like art, than a 9-5 job. For example, does she know that they used the same picture for everything Femme Fatale? Did she really, in her heart, believe that her GMA promotions were up to par before she did them (after she had done the Vegas practice show)? Did she even watch them and think about ways to improve the performance or rehearse an hour more/day for a national mini concert? Does she know how badly her fans wanted her to keep 'He About to Lose Me' and 'Burnin' Up' on her tour (they were not difficult numbers to do, and if she knew her fans loved those performances, then would she have fronted the $ to keep them if budget cutting was the issue like she used to pay for her own music videos?) Does she care? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe there is a reason her team doesn't let her have as much control, but I just can't figure that part out?

I guess what's irritating is that there is no quality behind it anymore. Alot of it is now to make a quick buck. Not sure how much of that comes from Britney herself but it's annoying that she goes along with it.
