David. got a reaction from britneymegamix in Spookiest year in Britneys life?
something happened in 2k1O yes but her personality was already like a robot for circus lol
we got some good moments on the circus tour but her interviews and her body language was already robotic
what really changed was her face, its like she aged 5 years in one year, but that was because of meds probably
and it wasnt really for a long period of time, fft had its moments too and she looked pretty flawless for most of it
and the 2k11 vmas was one of her best looks post breakdown

    not quite
it was a good performance for its purpose but the superbowl needs more dancing, pre recorded vocals and more production
but it was a great performance for an award show

David. got a reaction from Britneylegendaryass in Who Do You Think Are This Generation's Most Influential Female Artists In The Music Industry?
You clearly need to go look up the definition of 'Influence' before you make a thread about itThe fact you think Lady Gaga is the 3rd most influential female artist of all time makes you a damn idiot.
Gaga did not the bring modern Electro Pop sound. That would be Rihanna & Britney, Nelly Furtado all of them did it before Gaga. Gaga simply made an entire album centered around the same sound. There's a reason she once cited Blackout as one of the influences of her album but LET'S pretend for the sake of your pathetic argument none of this happened.
You mean the fact a lot of her image back in the Fame era wasn't even original but borrowed assets from David Bowie & countless other 80's acts?
The only influence Gaga had was that a few dumb sheep artists started dressing eccentric & changing multiple times during award shows.
I don't see anyone trying to be the NEXT Lady Gaga, I don't see anyone trying to replicate her sound or the way she performs, I don't see anyone paying homage to her. She literally killed her mainstream appeal the minute she dropped Alejandro & completely buried it the second she released Born This Way.
She's the Cyndi Lauper of this generation... That Is All.

LOL! And your dumbass can't seem to differentiate 'Influence & Impact' one can make an impact but that doesn't make them influential. Katy has made a huge impact on Pop culture being the first female artist & only the second artist to score 5 #1's from an album & scoring 7 consecutive top 5 hits from an album. Does this impact suddenly makes her influential? NO!
No one is denying Gaga made an impact. But is she influential? Is her so called influence still prevalent today? That answer is no. Gaga is now a shadow of what she was, her fanbase has eroded, her star-power has totally dimmed, she can't even sell out most of her 12k Arena venues these days. So many actual legends have shunned & disregarded her it's actually embarrassing. And I like her as I saw her in concert just 3 weeks ago.
You seem to not know much about 'Pop Culture' if you think I was comparing Gaga to Cyndi Lauper based off style . Let's see Cyndi blasted on the scene in the 80's had the better voice than Madonna, was more critically praised, Won the best New Artist Grammy & countless other awards, Everyone hailed her as the one who outlast Madonna because she was more talented & edgy / original. But she started to change up her sound & derive from what made people love her in the beginning, started making music only her die hard fans would like and ended up ruining her mainstream appeal / image. Just like Gaga did with Born This Way. She tried to go back to the commercial sound on ArtPOP but the damage was already done... Comparing Ke$ha to Cyndi is one of the dumbest sh!t ever as ke$ha was never even considered a huge force in pop just a singles Artist.
LOL go do your fucking research idiot. Gaga spoke about the Blackout album & Britney quite a lot in 2008 in many candid interviews before she got really famous. You know when Britney requested she write for her way before Just Dance even blew up... f**k outta her with your ignorant ass. And Gaga didn't establish no damn electro pop sound as the industry was already heading in that direction from 2007. Even Hilary Duff made an electro Pop album in 2007. Gaga simply capitalized on the sound as she was the breakout artist that year.
Once again you are wrong. Boyband's took off in the mid 90's along with the Spice Girls. Britney was hailed as the person responsible for spearheading the 'Female Teen Pop movement' and rightfully so. Not Teen Pop in general. Educate yourself before you type sh!t.
Madonna payed homage to her idols through her work but she never once passed it off as her own idea which is what Gaga tried to do hence she kept getting called out by quite a few legends including Grace Jones & Madonna. That's the difference.
Impact =//= Influence... Unless Gaga manages to save her career I highly doubt anyone will wanna be like her. And again you Are wrong. The minute Britney debuted she was influential. How many Britney wannabe's did we see emerge just in the first year?? Her style influenced an entire generation, her sound/ image was mimicked by many. She was so influential that the media started labeling artists who didn't fit in 'The Anti-Britney'. She had a legend like Madonna stanning for her right out the gate, she had Michael Jackson personally requesting her services. She is the only female artist to ever perform with the two Greatest Pop stars of all time. Cher was set to perform with Britney in 2001 that didn't pan out. How many legends have praised her? So you are a damn fool I'd you think people didn't start listing Britney as an influence till 2008 LOL.. Let's ignore Hilary duff, Miley, Lily Allen, Haley from Paramore, kelly Clarkson, all before 2008... Let's also ignore the fact none of the newer generation of popstars even cares about Gaga they all cite Britney as their influence. No one wants to be a social reject who dresses like a jackass <- That's Gaga's impact in a nutshell.
P.S - I really don't care if you switched your choices as I never cared about your opinion from the get go hence I didn't acknowledge it till you quoted me.

David. got a reaction from BrendaWalsh in Who Do You Think Are This Generation's Most Influential Female Artists In The Music Industry?
    1) Madonna - Greatest of All Time
    2) Janet Jackson - As much as people try to act like she isn't important. The fact remains her influence is still being felt today. Britney tailored her career after Janet & not so much Madonna. When I look back at Britney between 2000 - 2004 ..I see more Janet than anything else.
    3) - Britney - She really changed up the pop scene in 1999 - 2004 and her impact on pop culture is still very much evident today.
    4) Moo / Whitney / Celine - The 90's Trinity - Their influence hasn't really stood the test of time after the year 2000 though Britney kinda wiped out their importance within pop & brought back the resurgence of the current female popstar craze we see still raging on 14 years later.
5 ) Rihanna - I refuse to praise this bitch but she has been quite influential ever since 2007.
That's It... I'm leaving off Beyonce & Gaga because no one really aspires to be like them or tries to copy them. Sorry lil monstaz & Beez.
