  1. Until earlier this year, I thought the Onyx Hotel Tour was a residency concert in a hotel called Onyx.
  2. 1. Britney 2. Shakira 3. Kylie Minogue
  3. Bebe Rexha tweets about Britney

Was she hacked? Either way, she should've done a poll. It's more accurate.
  4. Yes. I know this is fake but...
  5. She's against fillered albums and she's still releasing cohesive bodies of work. Something about your statement doesn't add up.
  6. Still not a hypocrite because her albums are cohesive bodies of work.
  7. She said that the industry only focuses on quick lil singles and doesn't care about making cohesive pieces of work. She wasn't talking about side collabs, she was talking about people like Rihanna, who, at the time, were releasing fillered albums with few good songs in it. It's not hypocritical because her post-IASF albums aren't single collections, they're albums. She focuses on selling albums which is why she records visual albums and also performs album tracks on promo performances. In Beyoncé's case, side collabs =/= fillered albums.
  8. That's a whole another story and has nothing to do with being credited as a main artist. Either way, Perfect (Duet) is Ed's and Bey's song because they're both credited as a main artist. That's a whole another story. Her having or not having writing credits has nothing to do with Perfect (Duet) being her song or not. It's her song because she's credited as a main artist together with Ed and it's her #1 because of the previois reason and because her version is (or was) outselling the original version during the tracking period.
  9. If S&M (Remix) is considered a Britney song, then Perfect (Duet) is definetly a Beyoncé song and therefore it's also her #1.
  10. Her version is outselling the original and she's credited as a main artist, not a feature. That's why she got the credit. Billboard is crediting her for the #1 and, at the end of the day, they're the ones making the rules when it comes to the Hot 100, not you. And I'm not sure where you're getting with that last part. It's impressing the she can still get #1 singles after two decades in the industry. And, no, she won't take credit for credit for creating Nala. What a weak attempt at shade..
  11. She's credited as a main artist so it IS her #1. OT: This place is already seething and song hasn't even gone #1 yet. How will these bitches survive the Lion King era?
  12. PUH-lease. It could easily be the other way round too, especially in here. Beyoncé shops at Target = She's such trash. *followed up by a racist joke* Britney shops at Target = OMG. What a humble popstar. She doesn't build herself up like a God. Fakeyonce can't relate.
  13. Madonna: Pop’s Female Succubus

I think you mean @PokemonSpears. I just posted a few links. But I agree. There's no denying her impact in pop music and I think calling her "[just] a more controversial Britney" is a complete underestimation of her impact and overall legendary-ness.
  14. Madonna: Pop’s Female Succubus

I love Britney, but Madonna, sweetie, I'm so sorry... Anyway, get educated: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_impact_of_Madonna https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna_(entertainer)#Artistry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna_(entertainer)#Life_and_career
  15. I agree that an artist thinking he's above others is annoying. I used to hate that about Gaga too. Some of her stans can get annyoing (some idiot was saying she was right behind MJ when it comes to GP respect) but all fanbases are kinda like that, especially when their faves are sucessful (like the Monsters in 2011). This place is also extremely delusional so I'm not gonna drag others into this. And nice to know I'm not the only one whi thinks the "Baby and Oops outsold" is tired. However, I don't think Beyoncé is just a gimmick. She's still a hugely talented performer.
  16. OK. I get what you mean. I don't agree entirely with it but each to their own. I just don't see how wanting more than what you have is a bad thing. It's the main reason she still has a sucessful career.
  17. No. It's more like this: Beyonce drags the industry for not focusing on making good bodies of work and only focusing on selling quick lil singles. Beyonce releases a good body of work and, at the same time, quick lil singles between the eras. Two years later: Beyonce still makes quality bodies of work and still releases quick lil singles between her eras except, this time, they're sucessful. If she was dropping albums like Rihanna's and the side collabs, you'd have a point, but she isn't. She's following her words and is releasing quality bodies of work. Once again: she wasn't dragging quick lil singles, she was dragging the fillered albums.
  18. And once again, it doesn't. She was bashing the current state of the industry. As long as her albums are cohesive pieces of work, she's not being a hypocrite, because, once again, she wasn't bashing quick lil' singles, she was bashing bad albums disguised by quick lil' singles. Is it that hard for you to understand this?
  19. And, once again, we go back to the beginning: she wasn't bashing quick lil singles, she was bashing bad albums disguised by quick lil' singles. Her albums are still cohesive pieces of work so, once again, she's not a hypocrite. You can think she's pandering, that's your opinion, but using the "quick lil' singles" argument doesn't work here because, once again, she wasn't bashing quick lil singles, she was bashing bad albums disguised by quick lil' singles.
  20. If you can use the "friends" argument for the 2015 collabs, then you can do the same for the others. Mi Gente was for charity and she and Ed are friends(-ish). You kinda have a point with Eminem but, iirc, he was the one who called her. It was recorded in May (supposed to be acoustic apparently) and she ain't the one choosing when it's released.
  21. It isn't a matter of context, it's a matter of actually understanding what she meant. She also released collabs before (Runnin', Feelin' Myself, Say Yes, Hymn For The Weeknd) so her strategy hasn't changed. Like you said, a quick lil' single is a quick lil' single. Luckily, Beyoncé releases both "quick lil (collab) singles" and albums (not single collections) and therefore stays truthful to what she said. Many people here love making her name more guetto-sounding (Bey*nka) and discredit everything she does because it's "too guetto". For example, when the Lion King announcement came out, everyone discredited her. I've seen some members here calling her "*pe lips" and racist stuff like that. Self-Titled is flawless from start to finish (except Pretty Hurts) so that first argument is already false. Whether you like all her tracks or not is one thing, but you can't say her last two albums are "fillered". All the tracks add something to the experience. You may not like all of them -which is your own opinion - but they aren't fillers (except, once again, Pretty Hurts).
  22. It's her Pon De Replay. Are you ready for her SOS?
  23. Not the "quick lil' singles again". She was not discrediting singles, she was talking about how albums in the present time have like 4 good tracks (the singles) and the rest is filler. She was not belittling people like Rihanna because they have sucessful singles, she's was belittling them because their albums are trash besides the "quick lil' singles" (and I know you agree with this when it comes to Rih). And her collabs between eras are nothing new: look at Feelin' Myself, that Coldplay song, etc. Before and after those collabs, she delivered albums, not single collections. In other words, not a hypocrite (in this case at least).
  24. It's glorious because the only factual argument Britards had against her was that she hadn't had a US #1 since 2009. And now those racist c*nts don't even have that. I never said the duet was organic or anything of the sort but it is outselling the original version and she'll be credited as a main artist as well. The fact that you felt the need to bring up the fact that she's doing more collabs now proves my point. This poor place really won't handle this well...
