Exclusive: Cheat Codes’ Next Single Is A “Dope” Collaboration

Cheat Codes have a new collaboration on the way, but with who?

The trio caught up with BreatheHeavy at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday (Sep. 23) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. We touched on their crazy whirlwind year, which includes singles with Demi Lovato ("Sorry Not Sorry") and Nicky Romero ("Sober"), and they've got another collabo on the way.

"We have a new song coming out next month," the band tells BreatheHeavy.
"It’s a collaboration. We can’t say who it’s with quite yet." Come on give us something! "It’s with a male. It’s dope... It’s sick."

I gave the guys a little push to reveal the song's vibe. “It’s a feel-good… bit of a throwback, slightly ‘80s… modern-day… sounds like it should be in The Breakfast Club."

My guess is Nick Jonas. Bookmark me.

Nick is co-owner of Safehouse Records with Demi, so where there's smoke there's fire! Speaking of, Cheat Codes opened up about their recent collaboration with the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer.

"The song is about very modern-day relationships," they said. "People want labels because they want that commitment. They want to know what's going to happen, but then they're not enjoying the moment with each other."

Keep an eye out for their new tune in the coming weeks.
