"It is really amazing. It's sort of a return to the sort of Britney dance stuff. There are some great, great singles on that album. I was really happy for her. I feel like she is coming back in a big way."
- Glee creator Ryan Murphy to UsMagazine.com about Britney's upcoming album after hearing a sneak peek.
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is popping up left and right in the Britney world these days.
Lohan, who recently spent time behind bars for allegedly violating her terms set by an L.A. judge, is looking to Britney's team to get her life and career back on track, and if anyone can control a celebrity, it's them!
Britney's former publicist/spokesperson, Lou M. Taylor of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment in Tennessee, is working with Lindsay Lohan since her jail sentence, according to X17online.com.
Taylor's company website lists "business management, tax and accounting services, and financial and estate planning as their specialties."
Says the website:
quote:
"In an industry where each part of your life becomes a challenge to execute wisdom and discern the factors of each aspect of your career, Tri Star provides 'life managers' to come along side of you and your families and encourage you in your life, career and business planning."
Life Managers is a nice way of saying Life Controllers. Then again, life was left up to Lindsay up until now and look where it got her!
A source tells X17 Lou Taylor was brought in to Britney's life around 2008 to map out Britney's career and assets. She successfully brainwashed dad Jamie Spears to enforce a conservatorship over Britney, but originally wanted manager Larry Rudolph, who was "by Lou's side throughout the execution" of Britney's conservatorship.
The source tells X17online.com exclusively:
quote:
"Lou totally brainwashed Jamie. She convinced him a conservatorship was the only way to go and of course he went along with it when he heard about the financial control it would give him. But Lou didn't have Jamie in mind as the conservator at the beginning. She considered suggesting Larry Rudolph but she was afraid he would abuse the power. With Jamie, Lou thought she would have someone who was naive enough that she could continue to influence him and, therefore, continue to have a direct influence on Britney's life and career for years to come."
Lou Taylor has a similar plan for Lindsay says the source:
quote:
"Lou has suggested to Dina [Lohan] that they seek conservatorship over Lindsay's estate. Of course Lindsay doesn't really have any assets to speak of so it would really be for the sole purpose of controlling her future earnings. The problem is, neither Dina nor Michael would ever be granted a conservatorship by a judge so Lou went searching for someone else to fill that role -- someone with whom she could partner in a business sense, someone she trusts. This time she thinks Larry Rudolph may be the answer. Lou now realizes choosing Brit's dad as conservator may not have been the best idea. He got power hungry and decided he didn't need Lou anymore. So this time, Lou thinks Larry might be willing to work her way on this and be a figurehead in Lindsay's career while Lou works behind-the-scenes."
Taylor or Lohan's camp neither confirmed nor denied these claims. Of course.
Even recently, Lindsay's been spotted with Britney's managerAdam Leber at a "business meeting" in Beverly Hills, photographed by GSI Media, the same photo company that shoots Kevin Federline's publicity stunts with his kids.
Sounds like a photo-op for Leber if you ask me!
And if that's not enough drama for you, Lohan told Vanity Fair in a recent interview she (sort of) blames Britney for her downward spiral, saying:
quote:
"I would look up to those girls… the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that," she said. "I had a lot of responsibility; and I think just the second I didn't have [structure] anymore - I was 18, 19 - with a ton of money and no one really here to tell me that I couldn't do certain things… And I see where that’s gotten me now, and I don’t like it."
Britney and Jason spent another tender moment on her hotel balcony in Maui, Hawaii on Monday.
The photographer instantly turned to stone after gazing into Jason's eyes for a moment. Britney does not look thrilled to be photographed either. I'd be pissed too if someone unknowingly took my photo at my $10,000 a night hotel room!
And more pissed that my biggest fansite posted it! That bastard.
Britney is on the cover of POP magazine, directed by Japanese artist Takashi Marumaki and photographer Todd Cole, but is feeling the heat after unknowingly participating in "virtual child porn protest art," claims Kotaku.com.
"Murakami, who is often referred to as 'The Andy Warhol of Japan' for his pop-infused art, draws from manga and anime to create his work, which has adorned everything from Louis Vuitton bags to Kanye West albums."
The photos of Britney, seen wearing a blue dress and red backpack on one cover, and a wedding dress on the other, are depictions of Japanese manga "My Wife Is A Grade Schooler," now out of print due to the Tokyo Municipal government's conquest to ban "questionable depictions of underage characters in anime, manga and video games."
"My Wife Is A Grade Schooler" is one example of these banned publications.
"When the manga was shown on television, yellow Post-its were used to cover the suggestive bits. However, the Post-its made the manga appear more suggestive than it actually is. The manga itself is considered a "gag manga" and even social criticism. It apparently isn't as bad as it looks, and some said the way it was handled on TV was political scapegoating. The cover of "My Wife Is A Grade Schooler" (pictured) echoes the imagery used in the Spears' photographs. Same red backpack, same blue bathing, wedding dress."
The photos attach an intentional meaning: Murakami and Seiji Matsuyama, the author of "My Wife Is A Grade Schooler," claim the manga is not subject to child pornography, rather an expression of art. Matsuyama Tweeted:
"Takashi Murakami x Britney Spears x My Wife Is A Grade Schooler collaboration"
After the photos became public, Murakami Tweeted his reasoning behind the photoshoot, saying:
"As the Seiji Matsuyama incident became a symbol of the virtual child problem. I thought it should be immortalized as an artistic event to be marked in history. I am an artist. Because of this, I did what artists do."
Now the real question is: Was Britney or her team aware of the message these artists wanted to express? or did they, just like us, get bamboozled?
"I loved working with Takashi," said Britney in the POP interview. "I especially liked how he took high-end fashion and incorporated it with Japanese manga."
Britney is in negotiations for a "shocking" photoshoot and may "bare all" in a movie because she feels she's in the "best shape of her life," according to new reports.
"She has worked so hard to get the body she wants and intends to make the most of it," says a Spears insider.
"She's very proud of her body after all the stick she has received about her looks over the years."
Britney and sister Jamie Lynn are featured on this week's issue of OK! magazine.
They claim Brit is trying to convince JL to marry on-again off-again boyfriend Casey Aldridge, while Britney marries boyfriend Jason Trawick.
The idea came about after Brit and Jamie Lynn attended Lady Gaga's concert in L.A. in early August.
According to an insider, Britney was half-joking about creating “a huge, over-the-top Hollywood affair” at first. But when the two couples went back to Britney's Calabasas home, the sisters "couldn’t stop talking about it."
Britney's official site shot down these rumors as false.
While Britney enjoyed the beach in Hawaii with boyfriend Jason Trawick, her sons, Sean and Jayden, hit up a beach in Santa Barbara with Memaw Lynne and Pepaw Jamie.
The boys are enjoying their last few days of summer before heading back to school; they made sandcastles and ran in and out of the water.
