Dua Lipa is breathing new life into her No. 1 song.
Dua Lipa's got new records she'll count em.
Dua is breathing new life into her No. 1 song. The British pop star was named Spotify's most streamed woman of 2017 in the UK, according to the music giant's year-end figures.
Her track, "New Rules," helped Lipa leap in front of some of the world's biggest superstars, including Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Beyonce, who are also included in the U.K. most-streamed artists Top 5 list respectively. It's worth mentioning "New Rules" has been streamed more than 464 million times worldwide.
To keep the momentum going, Lipa unleashed a lyric video for the track. Yes, it feels absolutely unnecessary – the timing is about five months too late. Even weirder... there's already an official video. Nonetheless, it's giving the track some extra gains, and that's important if Dua wants to keep her streaming title in the new year.
Watch the neon-themed lyric video below. I also included the actual video afterward, because it's that good. Congrats, Dua!
