Martin Garrix And Dua Lipa – “Scared To Be Lonely” Music Video

UPDATE // JANUARY 27:

You, too, would be "Scared To Be Lonely" if left to your own devices in the middle of the woods. Throw in some solemn stares from Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa, and you have a menacing recipe for a brooding music video.

It was great at the very start...

UPDATE // JANUARY 26:

A day ahead of the video release, Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa premiered their new song, "Scared To Be Lonely." The EDM current runs through Lipa's powerful vocals as she sings about a tender vulnerability.

"Is it just our bodies? Are we both losing our minds?," she sings over a stomping synth beat. "Is the only reason you're holding me tonight cause we're scared to be lonely?"

EARLIER // JANUARY 3:

Rising starlet Dua Lipa is joining forces with one of EDM's elite.

Martin Garrix rang in the new year playing at the AVA NYE 2017 festival in Yangon, Myanmar, and treated the screaming crowd to a preview of his next single.

Thought to be called "Scared To Be Lonely," "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" singer Dua Lipa's distinct vocals can be heard across the booming EDM production.

The track is the first of its kind for pop songstress Dua and will certainly introduce her to a new audience thanks to the 20-year-old producer's worldwide following.

Both artists are releasing their debut albums this year, however with the singer's self-titled "Dua Lipa" due out in February we expect this track to appear on Garrix's LP.

To me, EDM has been dead for years now so this all sounds pretty flat (and what a waste of good lyrics?!) Although, if it helps Dua take off then let's go with it.
