... or so says his manager.
Drake has had the most successful year of his career and it had looked like we were going to get his newest project, More Life, before 2016 wrapped. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to wait until the New Year to rejoice in more Drizzy.
On Saturday (December 10), Drake manager, Oliver El-Khatib, dished some details on the project on OVOSOUND Radio, revealing that the Toronto rapper's set has been delayed for some time. "More Life is coming at the top of 2017," El-Katib said during the broadcast. "Stay tuned for some more updates."
Back in October, Drake dropped three new cuts from the project ("Two Birds, One Stone," "Sneakin'" featuring 21 Savage and "Fake Love") and revealed that the "playlist" was set to drop in December, but alas, we are almost halfway through the month and still have nothing. Surely, we've had plenty of Drake in 2016, so it's not like we're absolutely thirsting, but a man's word is a man's word.
Regardless, Drake and fans have a lot to look forward to 2017. First up, he's nominated for eight titles at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards and heading off to his European "The Boy Meets World Tour" in late January. In the meantime, he's been posting photos from J. Lo's "All I Have" Las Vegas residency.
