Dr. Luke On Gaga’s Oscars Performance: Kesha Should Not Be An Example

Dr. Luke took another opportunity to kick Kesha while she's down.

On Sunday, Lady Gaga Tweeted she'll be using Kesha as a source of inspiration during her performance of the Oscar-nominated song "Til It Happens To You" from The Hunting Ground documentary which explores rape on college campuses. Gaga said: "I'll be thinking of u 2nite. This is not over we'll stand by u until you are free to live a HAPPY life. Everyone deserves that."

Kesha, who's currently hiding away in the Bahamas, responded in kind, Tweeting Mother Monster a thank you: "thank you for all the support in my legal case animals. i love all of you. it's meant the world to me. xoxo. thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars. it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons."

Dr. Luke isn't having any of it. He's firmly standing his ground he did not rape or sexually abuse Kesha and doesn't want her represented as a hero in the matter.

Luke's attorney, Christine Lepera, tells TMZ, "Ms. Sebert [Kesha], who in sworn videotaped testimony from 2011 stated that she had never been sexually abused or drugged by Dr. Luke is neither a victim nor the appropriate person to be held up as an example for this important issue."
