UPDATE: The Chainsmokers respond.
UPDATE: WOMP. The Chainsmokers swiftly denied the rumor they have a song with Britney in the works.
The Chainsmokers are resident DJs in Las Vegas, so it's easy to imagine the trio found a spare second in Sin City to join forces.
On Monday, the guys Tweeted their next song is very special, which prompted a response from a past collaborator, singer Daya, to add fuel to the fire.
If that's not evidence enough, check out this Tweet from Ryan Seacrest who asked Britney if she had any secret collabs planned for her iHeartRadio music festival performance next month. For the record, TCS are playing that as well.
This is too good to be true.
The Chainsmokers have the No. 1 song in the country right now, and they might land another with help from Britney Spears. The Glory singer is fresh off her performance at the VMAs with G-Eazy where she hopped on the Oakland rapper's track "Me, Myself & I" that originally featured Bebe Rexha (her #WCW), but that's not the only collabo the "Slumber Party" singer had up her sleeve. One half of the duo, Drew Taggart, posted a few clips of a new song on the band's Snapchat, and it sounds an awful lot like Britney's voice.
