Desperate Housewives Creator Rules Out Britney As A Possible Guest Star

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES creator MARC CHERRY refuses to let the hit TV programme become another FRIENDS or WILL + GRACE by allowing guest appearances from celebrities.
The popular show, which won two Golden Globe awards earlier this year (05), will keep its format unchanged for the second season, despite rival sitcoms boasting big names like JENNIFER LOPEZ, DEMI MOORE and MADONNA.
And sexy star EVA LONGORIA, who plays adulterous trophy wife GABRIELLE SOLIS, is glad Wisteria Lane will be kept celebrity-free.
She says, "If we had BRITNEY SPEARS playing a neighbour, the viewers would be like, 'That's Britney Spears playing a neighbour!' Marc really chooses the best actor for the job."
