Give your heart a break - New Demi Lovato music's on the way!
That kind of rhymed.
Demi's busy touring her self-titled album right now, but soon enough she'll head back into the studio to record a follow-up.
“She’s finishing up right now on the last leg of her touring for this year, and we finish it up with a couple of radio shows,” Lovato’s manager Phil McIntyre told Billboard last week. “Then the plan is for her to go back into the studio and start the next creative process. She’s already done some songs, but certainly the majority of it will kick off next year.”
Disney Music Group president Ken Bunt adds, “We’re really excited. We’ve got a new album coming from her next year. We’re not talking about release dates yet. And she’s going to continue her world tour throughout next year.”
Demi Lovato's re-releasing "Demi" this fall.
No wonder her next studio album isn't finished! Homegirl's performed two arena tours in the last year - the Neon Lights tour last spring and the Demi World Tour this fall.
“I think she’s one of the handful of the music stars in the industry right now,” Bunt says of Lovato. “There’s not a lot of people who could go do two arena tours [in one year] anymore, and she’s one of them. There were three hits off of this record, and when she plays, there’s plenty of hits now.”
She kicks off a mini European run starting Nov. 16.
Leave Europe and get in the studio, biatch! We's waiting!
