Demi Lovato's getting political.
Hillarly Clinton's painfully transparent, but hopefully actively effective, attempts to connect with pop music to encourage the youth vote continue. After declaring that she hopes to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer and enlisting Katy Perry to perform an impromptu concert for her campaign, Clinton has teamed up with Demi Lovato who declared her the most "confident" woman she knows.
Performing her hit single "Confident" and album track "Yes," Lovato gave a strong vocal showing as always, in addition to speaking on behalf of the Democratic hopeful.
Demi said of Clinton, that she most admired "her beliefs, her strength and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment."
Hilary's campaign appears to hinge on the support of artists like Demi, so let's hope if she gets into office she has some solid political chops to back her musical takeover.
