If there's ever a time for an artist to record a song, it's during tough times, and Demi Lovato has had a few of them lately.
Not even two weeks ago, Demi Lovato shared a touching post on Instagram after the passing of her great grandmother, saying "I lost my world," and the tough times continue. She and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderamma announced after six years of dating they're parting ways. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends,” Lovato wrote in a note. “We will always be supportive of one another.”
Lovato, who recently shared plans to release new music ahead of her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas, shared a couple of pictures on SnapChat of her inside a recording studio Tuesday night (June 7). One of the photos said "studio vibes."
This is Demi's chance to prove herself. Last month, she said: “I’m still underestimated,” adding “I still have more things to prove — not just about the things I can do with my voice. Some people think that because I’m young, I can’t stay sober. But these are things I want to prove to myself.”
Stay strong, DD.
