Audé tells BreatheHeavy he set out to produce a remix with more energy, but didn't want to ruin Adele's "perfect" vocal.
DJ Dave Audé transforms Adele's "Hello" from ballad to banger.
We thought Dave Audé's remix of Britney Spears' "Body Ache" would be our favorite re-working from the master-mind producer, but he's outdone himself with his latest remix of Adele's "Hello."
It's no easy task to disguise a power ballad as a dance floor-ready bopper, but stripping away the live instrumentation for a pulsating electro beat would certainly do the trick.
Audé tells BreatheHeavy.com of the remix: “Adele’s 'Hello' is one of the best songs of this decade and this generation, so I set out to produce a remix that had more tempo and energy than the original but at the same time didn’t ruin Adele’s PERFECT powerful vocal that everyone loves," he says says. "In the end I hope people won’t compare it to the original but rather just enjoy this new tropical, deep, pop version. I am always humbled when I work on great songs, and this has definitely been one of my favorites to date."
