Confirmed: Beyonce Will Join Coldplay On Stage At The Super Bowl

Beyonce will return to the Super Bowl.

We wondered why Beyonce was filming something at the Superdome in December, and it is now clear why. She is confirmed to perform alongside Coldplay at the halftime show on Feb. 7.

It is thought Beyonce will sing her feature on A Head Full Of Dreams track “Hymn for the Weekend.”

Bruno Mars is also expected to take the stage.

Though it’s not confirmed, word on the street says Rihanna is also in talks to appear on stage. It is thought she will sing her part on “Princess of China.”

A source told The Mirror: “Chris and his band know they’re not typically as showy as recent performers like Katy Perry and Madonna with all the dancers and, while they love a light show, they still want to bring a few surprises out.” They added, “Beyonce and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show.”

Rihanna is currently filming a music video for her alleged new ANTi single “Work” featuring Drake, so perhaps she’ll use the very public platform to debut it then.
