That escalated quickly.
Last week, rapper Future opened up to Rolling Stone about still caring for ex / baby mama Ciara. At one point, Future used the platform to relay a message directly to Ciara, who is suing him for defamation despite him dropping his counter-suit.
“I’m attached to you," Future said to Cici. "If you’re happy, I’m happy. You’re connected for life. I don’t want you to go through this shit and for it to come back on my son, my kid. I want you to be in the best situation.”
Ciara is freaked out, and filed a new declaration claiming she fears Future might kill her fiancé, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
TMZ reports Ciara caught wind of a comment Future made on social media of some football emojis with a gun emoji pointed at them.
She is also not keen on a lyric from a song he dropped last month: "Tryna f*** my baby mama, dog what's up with you? You gon' make me get that heat, I'm pulling up on you."
The Jackie singer says Future is "frightening" and "socially irresponsible ... where there has been a recent rash of gun violence."
Jokes about gun violence is terrible, but Cici might be overreacting on this one.
“I was scared as shit,” Future told RS in that same interview of his breakup with the pop star. “I was one step away from being married, and I feel like I failed publicly in relationships. Then you want to go back to doing music, to what you know. And if the people didn’t accept you again, the one thing you feel like you can fall back on, it walked away from you. You feel like it’s over.”
Future dropped his countersuit against Ciara last month after a judge denied Ciara's request of sole custody over their son. He worried pursuing the legal stint would fire his ex up to go after full custody again.
In other news... Ciara covered(?) Dru Hill’s 1998 hit “Beauty” with Wilson and his former Seattle Seahawks teammate Robert Turbin.
