We'd be lying if we said we weren't really excited for Christina Aguilera's next album.
When Aguilera isn't judging on The Voice or hosting fundraising benefits for Hillary Clinton, she's hard at work in the recording studio crafting her upcoming caviar ratchet record.
We don't know much about her eighth studio album aside from collaborations with songwriter Ian Kirkpatrick (Nick Jonas' "Levels," Jason Derulo's "Want To Want Me") and Da Internz, but Aguilera confirmed in a new interview she's reuniting with Linda Perry – the mastermind behind many of her Stripped tracks including "Beautiful."
"I'm working with some new producers that I haven't before," the "Dirrty" singer tells Wonderwall. "And I'm reuniting with some old producers that I have always had a long time connection with, including Linda Perry who I did 'Beautiful' with. We have such a beautiful chemistry and connection."
In a separate interview with Extra, Aguilera says she's "really focused on my music right now."
"I've been loosely working on it. I like to take my time obviously. I'm not a robot. I don't operate like that. I have to really nurture the creative process and the time it takes to really deliver greatness. I'm excited... it's gonna be a big deal."
