Chance The Rapper’s Brother, Taylor Bennett, Comes Out As Bisexual

Chicago rapper Taylor Bennett is celebrating his birthday in the best way ever.

There's so much more work to be done to achieve total equality in the LGBTQ community, and Chance The Rapper's brother is doing his part. He's opening about his sexuality in the hopes to inspire others, particularly in the hip-hop community, to openly be themselves.

"My birthday is tomorrow and moving into next year I'd like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues," Bennett wrote on Twitter. "Growing up I've always felt indifferent about my sexuality and being attracted to one sex and today I would like to openly come out to my fans. I do recognize myself as a bisexual male and I do and have always openly supported the gay community and will keep doing so in 2017."

Bennett has plans to release a short film on Jan. 25 for his 2015 album Broad Shoulders and is aiming to drop an EP in February.
