Céline Dion celebrates a couple's new engagement with a cover of Sia's "Cheap Thrills."
It's one thing to get engaged during a Céline Dion show. It's another for the icon to personally serenade and congratulate you.
During Dion's performance of "Because You Loved Me" at her Saturday show inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the legendary singer noticed a man proposing to his girlfriend mid-song, and the moment captured her attention.
"Oh my goodness! Are you really asking her to marry you?," Dion asks. She urges the couple to stand in front of the stage to soak up the precious moment.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate you, but second of all we all would love to thank you for inviting us to your wedding," she joked before urging the crowd to film the moment and share it on YouTube.
"Well I guess it's a yes! Have a happy life. I hope you love as much as I love my husband," she continued. "I wish you the very very best."
The love energized Dion to sing Sia's "Cheap Thrills" before continuing a candid chat with the audience, then asked for their help to finish the tender ballad.
